ABOUT THE FORUM
Peace is valuable and priceless. Unity is an important ingredient for economic development. Young people have an important role to play in the peace, unity, and economic development in the societies in which they live.
Joined together with hundreds of High School students from all the Regions of Cameroon, you will learn how to contribute to peace, unity, and the economic development of Cameoon.
HOW YOU WILL BENEFIT
You will have the opportunity to meet and discuss with successful young entrepreneurs, who will share their success stories with you.
You will also network with young leaders from across Cameroon, who will impact your life like never before.
Day one of the program will be a day on intense training sessions involving topics like conflict management, youth leadership, economic opportunities, and much more.
PRIZES
·1st prize
100.000 FRS + a tablet, and a full scholarship to study at the prestigious FOTABE
UNIVERSITY COLLEGE in Buea
·2nd prize; 75.000 FRS + a smartphone and a 50%
scholarship to study at the prestigious FOTABE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE in Buea
·3rd prize; 50.000 FRS + a Smartphone and a 25% scholarship to study at the prestigious FOTABE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE in Buea
FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL LEADERSHIP CLUBS IN SCHOOLS
Entrepreneurial
leadership clubs, or debate clubs, or journalism clubs wishing to participate
must register two debate teams to participate in the ELF debate challenge. CLUBS
will pay a registration fee of 1000FCFA.The following prizes will be won:
·1st prize 200.000 FRS + a full scholarship to
study at the prestigious FOTABE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE in Buea.
·2nd prize; 100.000 FRS and a 50% scholarship to
study at the prestigious FOTABE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE in Buea
·3rd prize; 50.000 FRS and a 25% scholarship to
study at the prestigious FOTABE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE in Buea
CERTIFICATION
All participants will be awarded a certificate of entrepreneurship and leadership signed by the National Employment Fund, the Ministry of Employment and Vocational training, and FUNIC.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Individual high school students wishing to participate will submit a
10-point plan, showing:
1. How Cameroonian youth can contribute to peace, unity, and the
economic development of Cameroon.
THEME: “Cameroonian youth and peace, unity, and the
economic development of Cameroon.”
STRUCTURE
SELECTION CRITERIA
Projects and 10-point plans with the following characteristics stand the chance to be selected:
1. Original
2. Practical
3. Cost effective
4. Community-focuses
5. Sustainable

Latest date for all submissions to be received is 25th of March 2017.
