Training of Trainers Program

FELA is constantly working hard to improve the quality of training that is given to students and the quality of graduates' output.

FELA’s Training of Trainers program is a high-level professional learning process for qualified individuals who are willing to provide training and capacity-building to other professionals and small businesses. The program makes it possible for participants to progress from one level of expertise to another, with the ultimate goal being to become a certified corporate trainer.

This rigorous training includes a number of advanced training modules, ranging from leadership, to effective presentations and practice in training others to design and deliver a specific curriculum. Training sessions are held in Cameroon and abroad.

Eligibility:

Training of trainers program

To be eligible for this program, applicants must have: At least a Bachelor's degree

  • Master English and French
  • Have a strong passion for training and coaching
  • Be willing to study long hours and undertake research.
  • Be willing to nurture others to become professionals.

Registration:

Registration into the program has a small fee of 59,000FCFA

 Trainer Levels:

Right after completing the first month of training, trainers have the possibility of becoming a certified trainer. To ensure quality of output though, our trainers progress from one level to another. These levels certify mastery and expertise. The following levels exist:

 Bronze trainer:

  • Should have completed 14 bronze level trainings
  • Should have recruited 150 learners as proof of their ability to motivate learners

  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Time Management
  • Ethics and Professionalism

Silver trainer:

  • Should have completed 8 Silver level trainings
  • Should have organized 14 trainings with at least 100 new learners.

  • Human Resource Development (HRD) Framework
  • Training Needs Analysis
  • Instructional Design Basics-Curriculum Design
  • Training Program Design --Lesson Plan Development
  • Training Resource Development
  • Training Implementation / Delivery
  • Creating a Positive Learning Environment
  • Training Evaluation

 Gold trainer:

  • Should have Organized 28 trainings in total, with 50 new attendees
  • Should have attended 8 gold level trainings

  • Training Practice 2

Activities of a diamond member:

  • Should have organized 44 trainings in total with 400 attendees in all.
  • Should have organized corporate training sessions for at least 25 organisations.

Financial Support:

At FELA, we're aware that this training requires enormous investments in terms of time and finances too. A special program has thus been put in place to lessen the financial burden of trainees.
